My journey in dentistry began in 2001. I started my career as a dental assistant and soon progressed to become a Patient Care Coordinator. I love being part of the Dawson Dental Team! I especially enjoy interacting with patients from all walks of life. I’m Currently the Office Manager of the Dawson Dental Centre Aurora team and take great pride in being an integral part of the daily workings of the office.
My goal at work and in everyday life is to greet everyone with a smile, to make everyone feel welcome and to genuinely instill a feeling of warmth to everyone I meet.
My career started in 1998 in a Toronto dental office. After graduating from George Brown College as a Level II Dental Assistant, I have gone on to not only excel as a health professional but also to teach a class of successfully graduating dental students. My passion for being a Patient Care Co-ordinator/ Dental Assistant for Dawson Dental is still as strong as it was years ago. I have pride in my work and a strong commitment to giving patients high quality of care in a happy, comfortable and trusting environment.
“A smile is a curve that sets everything straight ”
Before embarking on my life long career as a dental hygienist, I graduated from York University with a Bachelor of Science degree, majoring in Biology. Oral health is part of overall health and becoming a dental hygienist allowed me to combine my interest in science with my passion for helping other people achieve optimal oral health. Being a good listener, I give all patients my undivided attention to listen to their concerns and what they want to achieve for their health and together we can reach their individual customized goals. Outside of the office, I constantly attend Continuing education courses and organize community oral health awareness programs.
“Prevention is the Key to a healthy smile”
Before I started my days as a Dental Assistant, I graduated from my Level one at CDI College in 2006, and then proceeded to receive my Level 2 designation from Everest College in 2008. I was happy to join the Dawson family in 2012 as a Level 2 Dental Assistant. Being very family oriented, I also enjoy my downtime with a little reading and outdoor adventures.
“The key to success, Do it Now!”
