Dr. Monica Dosanjh , BSc., DMD., MDentSc., Orthodontic Cert.-

Dr. Dosanjh graduated dental school in 2007. She received the American Association of Orthodontics Award, along with the most prestigious Omicron Kappa Upsilon Award given to recipients who demonstrate technical excellence and exemplary traits in character throughout the 4 years of dental school. After receiving her Doctorate of Dental Medicine, she worked in Whitehorse and Yellowknife as a general dentist.

Following one year as a dentist, she was accepted into one of the most reputable programs for orthodontics in the world: University of Connecticut. Dr. Charles Burstone, the world-renowned legend in biomechanics of orthodontics who massively contributed to the body of orthodontic literature, taught Dr. Dosanjh directly.

Dr. Vickie Hung, DDS

Dr. Vickie Hung graduated from the University of Toronto and speaks English and Mandarin. Dr. Hung is a dedicated and compassionate dentist focused on providing personalized care to each patient. Her favourite aspect of dentistry is building long-term relationships with her patients based on trust and mutual respect because she wants each visit to be as comfortable and stress-free as possible. Especially for those with dental anxiety, her goal is to create a relaxing environment and to ensure that patients are fully informed of their options and the treatment plan to help alleviate any fear.

Dr. Hung is passionate about general/family dentistry because it allows her to build long-term relationships with her patients and help patients achieve their oral health goals by providing comprehensive care, as well as educating them on the importance of oral health as it relates to systemic health. She is also passionate about Kids dentistry. Dr. Hung enjoys working with children and helping them see from a young age that dental visits can be fun! “As a child, those first few visits to the dentist are crucial to prevent future dental anxiety. I find it very rewarding every time I see a child at his/her first dental appointment laughing with us and having fun!”

When patients are looking for a new dentist, they should find a dentist who makes them feel comfortable and genuinely listens to their concerns. Patients need to find someone they can trust, someone who is sensitive to patients’ individual needs to ensure a positive and personalized experience. I firmly believe that open communication is key to a successful dentist/patient relationship.
