Dr. Cox earned his Bachelor of Science degree in 1983 and his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 1985 from the University of Alberta. Upon graduation, he moved to Ottawa where he was a partner in a group practice for 11 years. Since moving to the Greater Toronto Area in 1996 he has practiced in Oakville, in the Yonge and Eglinton area and in Yorkville.

With a passion for dental aesthetics, Dr. Cox completed a post-graduate program in Esthetic Dentistry at Baylor University of Texas in 1998. Dr. Cox is also certified in the BioClear Method, which is a revolutionary technique of enhancing smiles.

Dr. Cox’s philosophy is to educate and motivate his patients to make the best decisions for a lifetime of oral health. He is a lifelong learner and mentor and has a positive ability to work with multi-disciplinary teams.

Dr. Anna Skalska’s dedication to perfection and compassionate approach ensures that every visit is a positive dental experience.

Anna earned her first degree from Jagiellonian University in Krakow. After relocating to Canada, she completed the full four-year dentistry program at the University of Toronto, earning her second DDS degree. She also completed a Cosmetic Dentistry Residency at New York University. For thirteen years, Anna served as an associate professor in the Prosthodontics department at the Faculty of Dentistry at UofT.

Anna’s top priority is the comfort and well-being of her patients. She has a remarkable ability to diagnose even the most challenging cases, and her boundless energy and enthusiasm are admired by both staff and patients.

In her spare time, Anna dedicates many evenings and weekends to furthering her education, staying up-to-date with the latest advancements in technology— including implants, root canal treatments, and cosmetic dentistry.

Dr. Brito earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 2007 in Brazil where he worked for five years before moving to Canada. He was accepted for a scholarship at University of Toronto Faculty of Dentistry for a Master of Science program. His research was in cell biology, molecular biology, implant dentistry and periodontology. He was able to publish over 25 articles in the dental field during his graduation time.

Dr. Brito is passionate about Cosmetic Dentistry, Implants, and Invisalign. He strives to keep up to date on all the new technologies and techniques to offer the best to his patients. He always works together with his patients to ensure a comfortable experience with every appointment. This means understanding their limitations and slowly easing them into treatment.

Born in Brazil, Dr. Brito is fluent in Português, Spanish, and English. Growing up, his mom had a dental lab, so he was exposed to the dental field from a young age. His wife and sisters are also dentists.

Dr. Roshi earned her dentistry degree from the Ajman University of Science and Technology in Dubai in 2011. After relocating to Canada with her family in 2012, she successfully completed the National Dental Examining Board of Canada and began practicing as an associate dentist in Toronto and its surrounding areas. With years of experience across all aspects of dentistry, she provides comprehensive dental care to all her patients.

Dr. Ali Tanara, a 2016 graduate of Western University, completed a General Practice Residency at Lincoln Hospital in New York City, gaining valuable experience in treating medically complex patients and dental trauma. After practicing as a general dentist in Ottawa for three years, his interest in periodontology and dental implants grew. 

In 2023, he completed graduate studies in periodontology at the University of Alberta and advanced training in IV sedation. Now a licensed Periodontist in Ontario and New Brunswick, Dr. Tanara is a member of the Canadian and American Academies of Periodontology and a fellow of the Royal College of Dentists of Canada. 

Outside of dentistry, Dr. Tanara enjoys tennis, skiing, and traveling. 

Dr. Edward Gelfand is the founder of the Dawson Dental Centres where he has been practicing since 1996. He is a graduate of the University of Toronto and Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in Boston.
