Satyen Vyas, DDS, MSc

Dr. Vyas received his Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of Western Ontario in 2006 with distinction. He completed his undergraduate degree at the University of Waterloo in Biochemistry and his master’s degree in Pharmacology and Toxicology at the University of Western Ontario.

Aside from general dentistry, Dr. Vyas has been offering Invisalign for close to ten years and placing dental implants for over five. He loves the immediate positive functionality and self-esteem results after treatment and the ability to remove discomfort almost immediately when patients come to him for emergency oral care. He’s also able to provide oral sedation to patients with mild anxiety.

Ask anyone in the office and they’ll all agree that Dr. Vyas is caring and funny, but most importantly, he listens to patients intently, allowing them to be an integral part of their treatment plan decisions.

Dr. Eric Shieh, DDS

Dr. Shieh greatly values prevention, open communication, and efficiency. He believes that no dental treatment can perform better than a patient’s natural teeth, so it is of utmost importance to maintain their natural teeth for as long as possible!

With so many dental providers to choose from and many ways that dentistry can be practiced/applied, Dr. Shieh believes that it is important to have a dental provider that has the same values as their patients and that will inform, prevent, and treat their dentition in a manner that best suits them. The dentist-patient relationship is best applied to both dentist and patient as a life-long commitment that communicates and works with each other.

Dr. Shieh’s family has a long history in dentistry as his grandparents and relatives worked in the dental field either as dentists, dental hygienists, or dental technicians. Although his parents were very open minded and wished for him to pursue whichever career he was interested in, he found himself attracted back to dentistry and passionate about dental health.
