Differentiating itself from traditional braces, dental aligners employs a series of transparent, removable aligners that gently guide your teeth into their desired positions. These nearly invisible aligners are custom-crafted to fit your unique dental structure, making them a popular choice among both teenagers and adults seeking a more convenient and aesthetically pleasing solution to orthodontic challenges.

How Invisalign Works?

Dental aligners use state-of-the-art technology to straighten teeth without relying on conventional braces. This innovative orthodontic system utilizes a series of custom-made, clear aligners that gradually and comfortably reposition your teeth over time.

Each set of aligners is worn for approximately two weeks before transitioning to the next set, applying gentle pressure to achieve the ideal alignment.

Custom Treatment Plan: Based on the digital impressions, our Aurora dentist will create a custom treatment plan that outlines the anticipated movement of your teeth throughout your dental journey.

Production of Aligners: Guided by your treatment plan, a series of clear, custom-made aligners are produced. Each aligner is meticulously designed to gradually shift your teeth into their desired positions while ensuring a comfortable fit.

Fitting and Instructions: Upon the readiness of your aligners, you’ll visit our Aurora dental office to receive your initial set. Our team will ensure a proper fit and provide comprehensive instructions on wearing and maintaining the aligners.

Regular Progress Checks: Throughout your treatment, you’ll have periodic check-ups to monitor your progress and receive new sets of aligners as required.

Completion: Upon completing the series of aligners, our dentist may recommend a retainer to maintain your newly aligned smile. With every step tailored to your unique needs, our dentists offer a pathway to a more confident, straighter smile.
