What Is The Cost of Dental Implants?
March 1, 2013The cost of Dental Implants can range widely depending on the provider your choose, where you live and your personalized treatment plan. In this post, we’ll share the cost range for Toronto and area as well as various implant options, benefits and even payment options.
Dental Implant Cost Ranges & Options
When searching online for pricing, you may notice that Dental Implants are often advertised below $1,000. Don’t be fooled into believing that your treatment will cost that much, because the truth is that the restoration portion of the treatment probably isn’t factored into the total price, which in most cases is half the cost.
Our Toronto and area dentists follow the Ontario Dental Association fee guide. One implant including the restoration is $3,474/each. Another cheaper option is Mini Implants. With restoration, they cost $1,969/each. The difference between traditional Dental Implants and Mini Dental Implants is the how long they will last. Traditional Implants are expected to last a life-time, where as Mini Implants can last more or less than ten years.
Additional costs to consider:
Prior to the beginning of any treatment, a comprehensive exam and digital x-rays will be necessary, which costs roughly $250. Dawson requires a 50% deposit prior to treatment.
5 Benefits That Make Dental Implants Worth The Cost
Both traditional and Mini Dental Implants provide the same life changing benefits:
- Renewed ability to chew and speak properly
- Restoration of facial aesthetics
- Preservation of remaining jaw bone structure
- Recovery of the natural appearance and function of teeth
- Increased confidence
