Now, more than ever, it is important to consider how
your oral health directly impacts your overall health
and to make sure you don’t miss or delay important
appointments. We’ve further enhanced our top-notch
safety standards so you can visit us with confidence!
Patients will still be required to wear a mask in our practices.
We prioritize your health and safety at every step, beginning before you come in.
Pre-visit health check
We’ll get in touch to ask if you’ve been sick, or around anyone sick. If you have, we’ll ask you to reschedule—and make doing so super easy. This helps keep everyone healthy.
We’ll have you call or send us a quick text once you arrive. When your provider is ready for you, we’ll let you know! In the meantime, you can remain safe in your car or outside of the office.
We put safety first when you arrive.
We’ll take your temperature with a contactless thermometer. Feverish? We’ll ask you to reschedule when you’re feeling better. We also assess every team member daily to ensure your safety and that of the rest of the team.
We do require you to sanitize your hands and wear a mask in the office. If you forgot to bring your own, not to worry! We’ll provide you with one.
Social distancing maintained
We’ll require everyone to maintain six feet of separation as they move through the office.
Staggered visit times
For safety, we ensure minimal overlap in the hallways, so the office will feel calm and quiet.
A dental experience that’s safe for everyone
All of our clinical equipment is either single-use or thoroughly sterilized, and all areas of the office are sanitized regularly.
Our clinical team wears gloves, masks, gowns, and face shields when necessary.
Real-time safety updates
We are closely monitoring the Ontario Ministry of Health as well as our governing bodies (RCDSO, CDA, and CDHO). As they update their guidelines, we will update our safety practices in real-time.
Not sure if you need to be seen? We offer free virtual visits and consultations with our Chief Dental Surgeon, Dr. Edward Gelfand. He’ll talk to you about your concern(s) and provide recommendations on how to proceed. The best part? You can do it from the comfort of your couch!
