Brampton Nelson – Dr. Richard Schmidt

Dr. Richard Schmidt obtained his Honours Bachelor of Science Degree in Chemistry in 1982 at the University of Toronto, followed by two years of engineering (Materials and Metallurgical Science). He left engineering for dentistry, and graduated with his dental degree from the University of Toronto in 1988.

He is currently a member of the Ontario Dental Association has been a member of the International Straightwire Orthodontic Study Club since 1995. More recently, he has become a member of the SPEAR Education organization. Dr. Schmidt has published articles in the American Association of Cosmetic Orthodontics Journal and has presented at the Moyers Symposium, University of Michigan.

Dr. Schmidt enjoys all aspects of dentistry, but his first love is orthodontics. He is actively involved with implementing Invisalign orthodontics in our office to provide patients with a wonderful smile.
