Dr. Liron Rooz graduated from York University with a double major in Honors of Chemistry and Physiology & Health Science. He received his Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio.

Raised in Toronto, Dr. Rooz was born to parents from Hungary and Russia. He has a passion for aesthetic dentistry and restoring patient confidence, which he’s demonstrated in his many implant, Invisalign, porcelain veneer and other dental treatment cases.

Dr. Ilan Zimner is a General and Cosmetic Dentist, with experience in aesthetic (veneer), implant and Invisalign dentistry.

Dr. Zimner understands that every patient’s needs are unique. His kind, empathetic nature is the foundation for his established long-term patient relationships, and why new patients consistently feel comfortable beginning their journey with him.

He received his Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of Toronto.

Dr. Edward Gelfand is the founder of the Dawson Dental Centres where he has been practicing since 1996. He is a graduate of the University of Toronto and Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in Boston.

He has always been proud to provide up-to-date dentistry for his patients. With a special passion for cosmetic dentistry, Dr. Gelfand combines a scientific diagnosis of your smile with his precise artistic skill.

Dr. Closner’s decades of experience have taught him that you can never stop learning and trying to improve yourself. He is committed to comprehensive dental care with a gentle approach.

Dr. Closner views dental treatment as a team effort where both parties work together towards success. He encourages every nervous patient to explain what their fears are and why. No question is insignificant, and he will take the time to answer them all. Motivating his patients to make the best decisions for a lifetime of optimum oral health is the ultimate satisfaction.

Born and raised in Montreal, Dr. Closner graduated from McGill University. When not in the office, he takes piano lessons weekly and stays active by exercising six days a week. He also enjoys spending as much time as possible with his three wonderful granddaughters.

Dr. Finkelstein grew up in Montreal and earned his dental degree from McGill University, followed by two years in a general practice residency program where he gained valuable, advanced training in all aspects of restorative dentistry and periodontal and oral surgery. This drive for excellence continues today with Dr. Finkelstein applying his knowledge and years of experience to provide the best care possible for each of his patients. He takes a special interest in offering personalized treatment. In addition to the dental exam, he provides both the x-rays and hygiene (cleanings) himself, assuring his personal care every step of the way.

Dr. Finkelstein stresses the importance of preventive maintenance. He excels at restoring badly broken down teeth and is highly proficient in periodontal surgery. His patients appreciate how these aspects of dentistry contribute to the preservation of oral health and the longevity of their dentition.

Dr. Finkelstein has been treating patients in mid-town Toronto for over 35 years. When he’s not with patients he enjoys boating, photography, and spending time with family.

Dr. Jonathan Shainhouse is a skilled and compassionate dentist specializing in restorative, cosmetic, and surgical dentistry. He is committed to providing high-quality care with a conservative approach that preserves natural tooth structure whenever possible. Dr. Shainhouse uses the latest dental technologies to help patients maintain optimal oral health and achieve confident smiles.

He has extensive experience in restorative crown and bridge work, helping patients with durable and functional restorations. In oral surgery, he specializes in implants, restoring both function and aesthetics. Dr. Shainhouse is also passionate about cosmetic dentistry, offering treatments ranging from resin veneers to more comprehensive porcelain restorations, tailored to meet the individual needs of his patients.

With a combination of experience, compassion, and a gentle touch, Dr. Shainhouse takes the time to explain all treatment options and guide patients to make informed decisions about their dental care. He values open communication, offering sedation options for anxious patients and recommending minor treatments to help build trust and comfort.

Outside of dentistry, Dr. Shainhouse enjoys spending time with his family, cycling, playing music, and practicing magic. A Canadian native, he is the youngest of five siblings.
