Dr. Kosta, as her patients call her, loves what she does, and it shows! She is enthusiastic and a self-proclaimed perfectionist – a good trait to have as a dentist! Through her experience, Dr. Kosta has developed a passion for smile makeovers, cosmetic bonding, and Invisalign invisible braces treatment because of the visual impact they have on the patient’s smile.

Coming from a diverse background of English, Greek and Italian, Dr. Kosta truly appreciates Toronto’s diversity and enjoys practicing in the city.

Dr. Edward Gelfand is the founder of the Dawson Dental Centres where he has been practicing since 1996. He is a graduate of the University of Toronto and Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in Boston.

He has always been proud to provide up-to-date dentistry for his patients. With a special passion for cosmetic dentistry, Dr. Gelfand combines a scientific diagnosis of your smile with his precise artistic skill.

Matteo is a graduate of York University, obtaining a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and Psychology, Cum Laude, in 2013. He went on to study dentistry at Trinity College, University of Dublin Dental School in Ireland and graduated in 2018. Attending an Irish university allowed Matteo to learn European dental techniques, to be combined with those used in North America.

Matteo continues to improve on his skill and knowledge by keeping up-to-date on new technology and research and attending educational hands-on practice sessions to offer the best possible care for his patients. He works under evidence-based treatments and develops customized treatment plans that offer the best possible results.

Aside from dentistry, Matteo has a passion for sports and plays soccer and ice hockey. He maintains a healthy lifestyle and continues to perform his daily physical activity regime.
