Dr. Edward Gelfand is the founder of the Dawson Dental Centres where he has been practicing since 1996. He is a graduate of the University of Toronto and Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in Boston.

He has always been proud to provide up-to-date dentistry for his patients. With a special passion for cosmetic dentistry, Dr. Gelfand combines a scientific diagnosis of your smile with his precise artistic skill.

Dr. Edward Gelfand has dedicated his career to enhancing people’s lives both aesthetically and functionally.

Dr. Sade obtained his degree in dentistry from the University of Toronto and completed a 3-year full time residency program in periodontics at the State University of New York at Stony Brook. He currently maintains his private practice in Toronto.

Dr. Sade has joined with Dawson Dental to provide his expertise in the area of periodontics to patients who demonstrate the need for more advanced periodontal therapy.

Dr. Vickie Hung graduated from the University of Toronto and speaks English and Mandarin. Dr. Hung is a dedicated and compassionate dentist focused on providing personalized care to each patient. Her favourite aspect of dentistry is building long-term relationships with her patients based on trust and mutual respect because she wants each visit to be as comfortable and stress-free as possible. Especially for those with dental anxiety, her goal is to create a relaxing environment and to ensure that patients are fully informed of their options and the treatment plan to help alleviate any fear.

Dr. Hung is passionate about general/family dentistry because it allows her to build long-term relationships with her patients and help patients achieve their oral health goals by providing comprehensive care, as well as educating them on the importance of oral health as it relates to systemic health. She is also passionate about Kids dentistry. Dr. Hung enjoys working with children and helping them see from a young age that dental visits can be fun! “As a child, those first few visits to the dentist are crucial to prevent future dental anxiety. I find it very rewarding every time I see a child at his/her first dental appointment laughing with us and having fun!”

Dr. Legge graduated from Dentistry at the University of Toronto and has been a member of the Dawson Dental family for over a year and a half. Since joining Dawson, Dr. Legge has greatly enjoyed working with the loyal and attentive team in Oshawa and values the family feel of the practice.

Dr. Legge is passionate about all phases of general dentistry and looks forward to continuing to build relationships and providing exceptional service to his valued patients.

In his spare time, Dr. Legge and his wife enjoy playing many golf games in the warmer months and riding horses.

Dr. Spencer was born and raised in the UK before emigrating to Canada and obtaining his Dental Qualifications in Toronto.

He has practiced in many regions across Ontario, compiling a portfolio with over 20 years of experience in general and cosmetic dentistry.

Dr. Spencer has placed over 300 dental implants in his career and offers mild to moderate sedation to all patients who have dental anxiety or large treatment.

We are thrilled to have Dr. Spencer on our team to share his knowledge and talents.

Dr. Suman Singh received his Doctor in Dental Surgery Degree from New York University in 2015 and has been practicing all aspects of family and cosmetic dentistry ever since.

Dr. Singh is committed to providing comprehensive patient care while maintaining a calm and relaxed environment. Patient comfort is a top priority and he is constantly looking for new ways to make his patients feel at ease by keeping up-to-date on the latest techniques and technologies. He always makes sure that his patients feel confident and in control of their dental health and the treatments he administers. A positive experience is what matters most at the end of the day because that’s what keeps the patient coming back and invested in their dental health for the long-term.

Dr. Singh is also passionate about dental implant placement and is a certified Invisalign Invisible Braces provider.
